AGE SPOTS

Age spots, also called senile lentigines by dermatologists, appear as beige to brown spots, circular in shape but often poorly demarcated and which are preferentially located on the face and hands.

These brown spots are, in the vast majority, due to the accumulation of a pigment: melanin. Under the effect of age, stress, pollution or even tobacco, melanin factories (melanocytes) are disrupted and cause a lasting overproduction of melanin which then accumulates in skin cells (keratinocytes). .

To fade these sun spots, you must act at all stages of melanin production: before for prevention, during and after for correction. This is what the Novexpert treatments selected here offer.

Age spots can also be due to the accumulation of another molecule, lipofuscin, on which Novexpert treatments also act.
