What is Melanin used for?

Melanin is the pigment responsible for skin color, but also a powerful antioxidant. It offers natural sun protection to the skin because it can absorb up to 90% of UV rays. Each skin therefore has its own SPF (sun protection factor) thanks to it.

Tanning and tanned complexion reflect a temporary increase in melanin under the action of UV rays. However, stimulation should be done in moderation. Excessive production of melanin can create hyperpigmentation, also called brown spots.

At Novexpert, to benefit from the benefits of melanin, without going overboard, we have developed a hybrid treatment, between makeup and cream, in order to enjoy a tanned complexion and a prolonged tan thanks to a 100% natural product.
